Team Unagi (members: Muhammed İkbal Kazar, Orhan Uysal and Oğuzhan Özçelik) ranked 6th among 100 teams in ICPC SEERC 2019 programming contest in Romania. They ranked 1st among the teams participating from Turkey.
- Our Students Perman Atayev and Ziya Erkoç, mentored by Prof. Uğur Doğrusöz, were accepted to and successfully finished Google Summer of Code 2019.
- The paper “Investigating the Validity of Ground Truth in Code Reviewer Recommendation Studies” written by CS department faculty and students (Eray Tüzün & H. Altay Güvenir: CS Faculty, Emre Doğan: CS M.S. student, Ayberk Tecimer: CS B.S. student), received Best Emerging Results and Vision Paper Award in 13th ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement (ESEM 2019).
